April Rickard, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and trained EMDR practitioner at Luna recovery Center, with extensive experience in clinical leadership, program development, and behavioral health treatment. With a strong foundation in both direct care and administrative oversight, April brings a balanced, systems-level perspective to supporting clients and clinical teams alike.

As Director of Clinical Business Development for Pillars Health Group and its affiliated programs—including Meta Addiction Treatment, Luna Recovery for Women, and Keys Behavioral Health—April provides clinical guidance across multiple treatment locations. She supports the development of evidence-based programming, offers clinical supervision to licensure-track clinicians and graduate-level interns, and leads community outreach and professional partnerships. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, she provides EMDR therapy services, specializing in trauma-informed care.

Previously, April served as Clinical Director at Meta Addiction Treatment, where she played a key role in program development, staff hiring and training, risk management, admissions, and licensure compliance. She also maintained a client caseload and facilitated both individual and group therapy. 

Earlier in her career, she held a leadership role at Vinfen’s Adult Clinical Community Services program, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring adherence to evidence-based and person-centered practices.

April is known for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to clinical excellence, and dedication to fostering growth in both clients and clinicians. She is passionate about building strong treatment teams, delivering high-quality care, and helping individuals achieve meaningful, lasting recovery.
